Hong Kong, a perpetual concrete jungle known for it’s hustle and bustle of her people; also coined as the shopping heaven of Asia. It’s easy to get caught up in this whirlwind atmosphere and feel lost and small.
But within the agglomeration of high-rise buildings and narrow walkways was the essence of the city we sought to capture, an endeavour that led us to Sham Shui Po. A lively scene where the rich and the common alike congregate, Sham Shui Po is a place by the people, for the people.
It was the perfect representation of our sentiment of Hong Kong. We visited rooftop houses, wet markets and tried famous local dishes. And the more we explored, the more we found ourselves developing a sense of connection to this beautiful city.
